Pioneer Sabbath!
It was in the 1840’s, an Advent awakening was emerging in the United States. Early advent Bible scholars were studying the prophecies of Daniel, Revelation and Christ’s second coming. They found that the Bible prophecies were coming to fruition. Out of this awakening, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church emerged. God was leading a great movement and times were exciting. However, excitement fads and good Christian’s can lose their direction for the future. We remember Pioneer Sabbath for the sacrifices of our founding members and their unwavering dedication to the teachings of God’s Word, the Bible. May we never forget!
